The Caryatides
Like promises, I read the headlines of stories.
Like promises, I read the signages on roofs or entrances of buildings -
a million places I could be taken to,
a million places, people want to be taken to.
Clear lines blur and steady hours fracture.
Alternate echos emerge.
The materiality of architecture stretches beyond its physical presence.
A form changes once it is traced.
Neither outside, nor inside, yet in-between.
