Boriana Karapanteva-Strasser

Boriana Karapanteva-Strasser is living proof that it is possible to get even young children interested in the challenging synthesis of art and science. She began her studies at the Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, specialising in textiles and fashion and completed her teacher training in the subjects "Art and Communicative Practice" and "Textiles - Free, Applied and Experimental Artistic Design" at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Boriana lives and works as an art teacher in St. Pölten. Her work focuses on the combination of art, cultural and social history with artistic practices and technologies. With her approach, she embodies exactly what the VIFKIDS philosophy stands for, namely to accompany children in discovering diversity and connections in the world that surrounds us with curiosity and joy.
