Dimana Lateva
Biography
Dimana Lateva (1982, Haskovo/Bulgaria) works as a freelance stage and costume designer in the fields of opera, drama and children's/youth theater in Germany, Austria and Bulgaria. She studied architecture at the HafenCity University Hamburg and stage design/scenic space at the TU Berlin. From 2009 she worked on productions at the Salzburg Festival, the Frankfurt Opera and the Komische Oper Berlin. In 2010 she was involved in the exhibitions "Sprungbrett 2010" and "Meisterszenen" at the TU Berlin, the following year she was responsible for the stage and costumes of "Bonnie and Clyde" at the Stadttheater Gießen and in 2015, she designed the stage and costumes for the production of "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk" at the Russe Opera House in Bulgaria, to name but a few. From 2021 to 2023 Dimana Lateva was part of the team as stage and costume designer of "Triolino", a production of Jeunesse Musicale Austria for children from 3 to 6 years old.
