God's Entertainment
Biography
Founded in 2006, the Viennese performance collective God's Entertainment conducts interdisciplinary research into the political and social issues of our time in changing line-ups. With their radical approaches, they search for new, exciting fields of force in different social and cultural spaces, themes, structures and forms outside theatrical conventions. God's Entertainment does not only use the theater stage as a playing field for their performances; actions are constantly taking place in public or in private homes. Involving the audience is one of their most striking characteristics and has a decisive influence on their work. Their performances and exhibitions have been displayed in Austria and throughout Europe: brut, HAU, Sophiensaele, Kampnagel, donaufestival, Wiener Festwochen, Spielart Festival Munich, Divus Prague, Liverpool Biennale, Impulstanz – Vienna International Dance Festival, Innsbruck International and Drugo More Rijeka.
