Ida Zahradnik
Biography
Ida Zahradnik (1997, Vienna) is an artist and landscape architect. Her diploma in landscape planning and fine arts shaped her socio-ecological-critical way of thinking. Zahradnik seeks a close relationship between her artistic work and her physical and socio-spatial environment and creates installative and performative sculptures. In her artistic exploration, she questions fair consumption in a holistic sense and the associated resource policy. As co-founder of the collective "Gruppe Bussi" and in collaboration with Pauline Hosse-Hartmann, she observes, comments on and participates in conditions and changes in an artistic and activist language. Thematically, their joint works revolve around phenomena from the animal and plant kingdoms and the value of biodiverse systems.
