Ludwig Lusser

The organist Ludwig Lusser (1969, East Tyrol) first studied piano and organ at the Innsbruck Conservatory and later completed his studies in Catholic church music, organ concert and IGP organ at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (organ with Michael Radulescu). Since 1989 he has developed a varied concert activity as an organist and improviser. He is particularly interested in organ music in Austria since 1945. Lusser has twice been awarded the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Art's prize of appreciation. Since 2006, Lusser has been cathedral organist in St. Pölten and teaches at the Diocesan Conservatory for church music there.
