Pauline Hosse-Hartmann
Biography
Pauline Hosse-Hartmann (1994) is active between art education and the visual arts. In her work, she deals with natural materials and textile craftsmanship, intergenerationality, language and conversation and realizes installations, performances and interventions. Pauline Hosse-Hartmann is originally from Berlin and studied in Kassel, Florence and Vienna. She is currently studying in the class for site-specific art at the Angewandte. Pauline Hosse-Hartmann and Ida Zahradnik have been working together since 2022. Dyeing sheep's wool with local plants and felting it is the central material and technique used by the artist duo. Thematically, their joint works revolve around phenomena from the animal and plant kingdoms and the value of biodiverse systems.
