Veronika Maurer

Veronika Maurer studied philosophy in Vienna and Paris and worked at the Burgtheater in Vienna as an assistant dramaturg with René Pollesch and Christoph Schlingensief, among others. From 2011 to 2014, she worked at the Residenztheater in Munich, followed by a season at the Schauspielhaus Graz. As a dramaturg at the Volkstheater Wien, where she worked from 2015 to 2020, she has curated the discussion series "Volkstheatergespräche" and guests as well as an annual festival with guest performances from Eastern Europe. Since 2020 she has been working as a freelance dramaturg, including at Werk X-Petersplatz and the Münchner Kammerspiele. She has also been a dramaturg at the Brechtfestival Augsburg since 2022.
