Super Farm
SaeborgPast event
Description
Welcome to the world of Saeborg! Here, cute, brightly coloured rubber animals live together on a farm. A giant sow gives birth to cute piglets, funny misadventures happen to a dog and dung beetles romp around in a gigantic poop castle. In Saeborg’s spectacularly colourful utopia, even the farm animals at the bottom of the food chain live happily together. Liberating fun for the whole family!
All visitors, regardless of age, but especially the youngest, are invited to discover this unique animal world and make friends with the lovable inhabitants in their own language.
“Greetings. I am Saeborg – an imperfect cyborg, half human and half toy. I create latex bodysuits as extensions of my own skin and deploy them in performances. I’m interested in breathing life into worlds and emotions in our minds that rarely take shape in the real world to inflate them into three-dimensional objects.”
Saeborg’s recent works include “Cycle of L” (2020) for the Museum of Art in Kochi and “House of L” (2019) for the Aichi Triennale. In 2019, she was invited to the Tasmanian Dark Mofo Festival and in 2018 to the 6th Athens Biennale “ANTI”. With “Super Farm”, Saeborg has created a unique work for the whole family.
