KREDO (Open Call)

Under the editorial direction of Muhamed Beganović and Clemens Stachel, the editors of the QAMAR magazine, the Tangente offers the opportunity to journalistically accompany the festival. What makes the Tangente special? What succeeds? What is going completely wrong? The KREDO editorial team writes independently about what affects them. This ranges from portraits of artists to subjective impressions of events to literary and essayistic texts. The editors and their work accompany the Tangente throughout the entire period.

KREDO consists of eight editors. They are selected through an open call and, as part of the Tangente, bring a multi-perspective and critical voice to the institution. Experts and artists from various journalistic fields teach participants necessary journalistic skills in preparation for the festival.

KREDO is a central mediation project of the Tangente Festival. The Tangente only makes sense if people also participate in it, help shape it. Therefore: Join KREDO! The editorial team is looking forward to letters, feedback and any kind of exchange.

1. Introduce yourself in a short but meaningful self-portrait. This can be a text, a video or an audio recording. Also explain to us why you would like to report on TangenteSt.Pölten.
2. Send us a text sample. This can be a text from your previous journalistic work that you are proud of. But it can also be a previously unpublished text. An art or cultural context would be great, but is not essential. (Text length: min. 3000 characters incl. spaces)
