Travelling by public transport
In the interest of sustainability, we recommend our visitors to travel using public transportation if possible and kindly ask them to refrain from using private cars.
The provincial capital St. Pölten is situated between Vienna and Linz on the Westbahn rail line, with frequent public transportation connections throughout the day. St. Pölten is also accessible via the Mariazell Railway, providing an hourly connection through the Pielachtal valley. A direct train connection from Vienna-Schwechat International Airport to St. Pölten is available, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour. The St. Pölten train station is excellently connected to both national and international rail networks.
All our venues are accessible either by public transportation or through provided shuttles (information available on our website at the beginning of the festival).
