Drag is my politics
Paneltalk in Kooperation mit Queer Museum ViennaFree Entrance
Description
The panel revolves around the need of queer visibility such as drag within different lived realities – those of the big cities but foremost of the province and of the countryside. We will look at Drag and Queer culture as important tools of political and social change, as individual and collective instrument of resistance within the local and international context.
What does it take to build Drag/Queer culture from scratch? Why do people leave for the big cities? How does Drag become instrumentalised by politics? These are only some of the questions AL (QMV) will discuss with Madame Léa, Lia Quirina and Eric BigClit.
Talk will be held in English and is free of charge.
